Week 6, day 2-4

Hey my lovely followers,

So there have been a few things that have cropped up lately that I should share with you.

1) I can't afford to follow the U-loss stuff anymore. The pills were a bit expensive every week and I haven't been able to get groceries in a while.

2) No fear though I am still following the meal plans and still walking. But going to be doing it on my own for a while. (not really on my own because I know that you are all supporting me in this.)

3) I found out that I am super lazy, I hate having to think about what I eat and when I eat. I guess that is part of being human.

So it is time for me to kick myself and get back up and work harder to do it. Because I know I can.

Hey friends,
I am so sorry. Life seemed to kick me in the ass every time I turned around. I don't even know how to explain it other than that.

The week was ok. I went down another pound so that is a total of 18 lost. I am just tired I guess. I shouldn't be. I still love the food and it is great but It has been five weeks. And I am naturally a lazy person.

But I know I need to keep plugging at it. This is for me. My life.

Hope you are all doing better than I am.. Another new week brings new challenges and I am (hopefully) ready to kick life back. :)

Good Evening,
So today I had a wonderful day. I had Breakfast with my best friend and two other friends :D it was a great time of fun. I did however eat a little more than I should have.

I came home after work and had Dinner. It consisted of Wasa bread spread with Hummus, sliced ham, lettuce, tomato and cheese. It was so good :D
I know I skipped lunch but there was no time. A new week starts tomorrow and will hopefully be a great week for weight loss :D Hope you are all doing well.

Good Evening my lovelies,
So today I went into the center. I stayed the same. I should not be upset about this. It is so much better than a gain. But you can bet that I am working super hard to loose on Monday.

Now onto the good stuff :D FOOD!!! hehe

For Breakfast I had the good old Scrambled eggs (one full egg and two more egg whites), and Canadian Bacon with a slice of Wasa Bread. :D Love it.. Has anybody put salsa on their scrambled eggs? is it good?


After my walk around the mall I came home and had a Chicken, Spinach, Feta, Ranch Wrap for Lunch. I am totally in love with this wrap. You've seen it before and will most defiantly see it again :D


At the mall I picked up a slicer thing. It made making my Dinner easier and it looked better too. Sweet Potato Chips and Salmon covered in Salsa. :D

Evening my lovlies,
So today I went on a hike with my friend and I took this picture :D

Feeling a lot better about myself and the things that have been going on. Sometimes I feel like all I do is talk about my weight and what I am eating.. Kind of gets me down. But then I remember that it is important and a huge part of the change is changing my eating.

So onto the foods. For Breakfast I had a chocolate peanut butter smoothie :D



I forgot to bring my camera with me to take a picture of my Lunch but it was a delicious pita pizza. Cold because i had made it the night before.


and for Dinner I got a roasted chicken breast sub from Subway.. Piled with veggies.. :D SO good :D

Well I go into the center tomorrow.. I hope to be down 2.5 at least.. that would be nice but we will see. Hope you all have a good Friday :D

Evening my lovelies,

So for the good news.. I went into the Center to do my try weekly weigh in. I was DOWN 6.5 lbs.. that is a TOTAL of 17.5 lbs. WHOOT!!!! *throws mini party in celebration of me* Yah i am humble. :D

As for food for today I ran out of batteries in my camera but here is it.

Breakfast Coffee and a raspberry muffin (oh Mel, most of the smoothies that I make have Protean powder, flax seed oil and then fruit and yogurt with some milk.)

Lunch Chicken Greek Salad

Dinner: Pita pizza MMMM

Week 4, Day 3

Good morning Ladies,
I was so tired yesterday that I went to bed at 8:30.. and for the most part slept through the night. It felt amazing :D

I am running out of groceries so this is a smoothie made with frozen cranberries and strawberries. It was a delicious Breakfast :D


Yesterday was mostly spent at the school working on my novel with other people who were working on theirs so I had a salad from the school cafe for Lunch It was really good.. I need to remember to bring my camera everywhere so I can take pictures when I am out and about.

For Dinner I had Lemon chicken, a salad and a baked sweet potato. The sweet potato isn't in the picture because it wasn't done baking yet.. so yah.. :D The tomato and carrot is buried under the lettuce. :D still delicious.

I just wanted to say thank you for the support I got after the gain. I am going back in today and hopefully it is a better outcome. You guys make me smile and I need that every so often.

Good Evening my pretties.
So to begin with the bad news. I went into the Center today and got weighted after the weekend. I went up four pounds. I was super annoyed with myself. I know that it isn't going to be done right away but I hate going up or staying the same. I just want to keep loosing. I know it isn't really something i can control other than what I put in my mouth.. So now I will pay even closer attention to what I put in there.. I just have to keep reminding myself that I am still down 11 since I started and this is only a minor setback.

Now onto the delicious things. For Breakfast I made the yogurt Crunch. But I am running out of fruit so this has frozen strawberries and half a cut up pair in it. :D I love any fruit in my yogurt.

For Lunch I made a delicious Chicken Feta Spinach Wrap. This is one of my favourite wraps :D Defiantly going to make it again.


For Dinner I had Egg Salad on Wasa bread with a little cheese. It was really good. :D

Ok guys I know it has been a while.. I have just been super tired when I get home from work and stuff and then I get distraced.. Please forgive me.

My pedomier keeps reseting so i have no ida what my step count is for the past three days.. and that is annoying.

But. I went into the center on friday and was Down another pound. :D 15 total.. I go in again tomorrow.. :D

Hey guys,
Better late than never right? :D So here goes.

Breakfast was a delicious combo of canadian bacon and scrambled eggs. I was wondering if anybody could tell me the difference between Omega-3 Eggs and regular eggs. Maybe I should do some research. The eggs were two egg whites and one whole egg. :D Plus a slice of wasa bread.
I didn't have lunch. And for Dinner I was invited over to a lady from my church's house and she made a turkey dinner. So we will see how today goes. Last time I went into the center I stayed the same. They said I might be loosing in the inches.. so we will see.

Hey,
So I know this post is about a day late but I was so tired after my freakishly long day yesterday. Here it is.

Breakfast consisted of Yogurt Crunch with Blue Berries and Banana. :d It was taken to go.


Best things about wraps is that you can take them to go too. Because I had to work yesterday I didn't come home at all. Lunch was this delicious Beef Greek wrap with hummus, feta, tomato and roast beef. :D
I also brought Dinner with me but that was a disaster. It was the Lox Crisp.. Wasa bread does not travel well. I figured that out. but yah.

Also while I was at work my pedometer reset itself. I have no idea how many steps I took yesterday. It says 355 right now but that is so not right with all the walking I did.. GRRR.. oh well another day another chance to make a change. Hope you are all doing well.

Good Evening my lovelies

So
apparently this post wants to be all bolded.. and I don't know how to fix that.. *kicks computer* Oh well.. lets get down to business.

For Breakfast I had the super delicious Berry Cottage Crunch. Mmm do I ever love blueberries and banana. :D


Woah look.. not bold.. lol.. Lunch consisted of a Spinach ham wrap and a trail mix that I made myself with almonds, cashews, granola and Craisins. I am happy the way it turned out and everybody at the lunch table wanted some :D



For Dinner I had the Fiesta Taco Burger made with salsa. This is supposed to have black beans in it, probably for fiber but I didn't pick up any. It was delicious anyway :D I added mushrooms because I love them.
So I guess that is it. I go into the center tomorrow so we will see what's new. :D

Good Evening my lovelies,
So to start off I went into the center today. And I am Down 1 Lb. So that is a total of 14 lost. If you find it DON'T return it.. EVER!! hehe

For Breakfast I had a banana raspberry smoothie. Very good. :D


Lunch is brought you you by the letters T and W for this delicious Turkey Wrap. with a little dejon mustard. And finally for dinner we have a small steak and a LOT of baked sweet potato.


So I guess that is it for today. I have to get some homework done. Hope you all are starting your week off right.

Week 3, Day 1

Good Morning,
I am so sorry. In all the craziness yesterday (National Novel Writing Month (www.nanowrimo.org if you want more info) started and goes through all of November) I completely forgot to post. But better late than never right? Which probably isn't the case in like bomb squads or something time sensitive. Here goes.

Breakfast today was brought to you by the letter O for Oatmeal Pancakes. The recepie didn't turn out so good which either means I made it wrong or I made it wrong. This is what it looked like before I cooked it.


This is the after. Of course I still at it. Tasted a little dry and very heavy.. But still good. I wasn't hungry all day after eating them.
After coming home from the Write in (where people get together with their laptops and work on their own stories) I was hungry so for Dinner I wanted something easy. This is the Lox crisp. You've seen it before but this time I actually had the smoked salmon that it called for. :D I liked it both ways and Smoked salmon is freeking expensive so probably won't be eating it that way again. (I still have enough salmon for one more meal of it :D)
Not much else happened. I wrote 5k in my story and yep.. that's it. Hope you all had a good weekend.

Happy Haunted Day to you my friends,

So nothing amazing happened today. Went to work and then went grocery shopping for next weeks foods and then came home. :D
For Breakfast I had a delicious Peanut Butter Smoothie..


I didn't eat lunch.. I know bad skipping meals but I was at work and then I thought I would save some money instead of going to Subway. So I got groceries, which was super hard on a hungry stomach, and then came home and made this delicious Dinner.

It consisted of Baked Sweet potato, A salad with a little Italian dressing, and Steak strips. I like how you can still see the steam coming off it.. lol

Well I guess that is it. The end of another week. 8 more to go. :D Hopefully I will be able to keep the loss up.

Hey Guys,
So I went into the center today and was DOWN 4 lbs. That means I have lost a total of...
13 lbs
since the start of the big change. :D Just have to keep moving one step forward.

I didn't take pictures of the food today. I didn't eat the three meals today because I wasn't hungry. Which I know isn't good but still sometimes it is important to take care of myself over eating.

Hello Ladies.
Let me start out by saying that I am craving Pizza so bad. I usually had it like once a week.. so what do I do about that?

Here goes todays meals. I am kind of feeling under the weather so it was a light day food wise. For Breakfast I had a blueberry cranberry smoothie. It was really good. Storm even enjoyed some.


For Lunch I had a ham, bacon wrap with dejon mustard and romaine lettuce.
And for Dinner I had Wasa bread with cream cheese with tomato and cuccumber. Once again very delicious.I didn't leave the house today because I was feeling sick so I didn't get my steps in. I hope you are all doing good.

Week 2, Day 4

Morning Ladies,
I am sorry that this post is the day after. I was just so bogged down with homework. But I went into the center yesterday and I am down a total of 9 lbs.. I go in tomorrow to so lets make sure that tomrrow is 10 :D hehe

So to start off I thought I should tell you that I got a new kitten :D Her name is Storm and she is super cute.
Ok to get onto the meals. For Breakfast I had a choclate smoothie with peanut butter and banana.. Very good. :D It is a repeat from before.


For Lunch I had a Salmon wrap with hummus and lettuce and carrot :D once again a repeat but easy to make and delicious.
For Snack I had Apples with Almond butter and cheese slices. The ladies at the center said I should eat a snack even if I'm not hungry.. so yah. It was very good. Never had almond butter before so that was a new experience.


Finally for Dinner I had Teryki Sesame Chicken with baby greens. I was supposed to have a baked Sweet potato with it but ran out of sweet potatoes. hmm need to get some more.


Well I guess that is about it. Need to get walking some more but feel a cold coming on. Hmm Hope you are all doing well.

Hello Ladies,

So nothing much happened today. Went into the center and I am down .75 of a pound. WHOOT!!! almost 10 pounds total loss in less than two weeks.

For Breakfast I had the amazing yogurt berry crunch.


Lunch consisted of a Spinach Turkey wrap with bacon. So good. :D
And for Dinner I had the delicious Spicy Salmon with mashed Sweet Potato :D So I guess that is it. Hope you are all doing well.

Good evening my Friends,

So nothing special happened today. I was supposed to go into the center but got distracted. Will go in tomorrow. And I will let you know how it goes.

Lets get things underway. Breakfast consisted of the Berry Cottage Crunch. :D Cottage cheese will always make me happy.


For Lunch there was the Crispy Lox. This is Made with Wasa Bread found at the bulk food store, light cream cheese, smoked salmon, cucumbers and tomatoes. I didn't get any smoked salmon so I did without. It was a nice light lunch :D
For Dinner I made a nice light Chicken Taco with lettuce and cheese and home made salsa :D I guess that is it for today. Hope you are all doing well. Remember it takes one day at a time to make a change.

Welcome to Week Two :D
So this week brings a lot of new challenges . To try and keep things fresh and interesting. As well as to walk more and still see results. I am sure it can be done :D

So getting onto what was consumed today. For Breakfast I had a cranberry smoothie. At first I didn't like it but then I got used to it. :D Smoothies are my new favourite thing. This had raspberries and the flaxseed oil in it, plus protean powder.


Once again I had to work today during the lunch rush and forgot to bring it. I guess I was just to lazy this morning to make it. So I need to get that under control. So, knowing I needed to eat or else the body would go into starvation mode, for Lunch I went to Subway again and got a Turkey 6-inch on 7 grain bread. It was really good.. once again with a LOT of veggies and water.

I can have a snack now so I brought one of those bars from a previous post. They were interesting but good. I defiantly will be getting more of those :D

Finally for Dinner I had my steak, sweet potato fries and steamed Spinach favorite again. Seriously I LOVE sweet potatoes. :D hehe

So that is it for the first day of the second week :D Hope to keep things going strong. Thanks again for all your support.

Good evening my lovelies,

So today was the last day of the first week of the rest of my life. Sounds ominous? Maybe because it is Halloween season. Bua ha ha ha ha. But seriously some people say it takes seven days to make a habit. I want my healthy eating to be come a full time thing. To the point were I am not even tempted to eat unhealthy. So lets get things rolling

For Breakfast I had a delicious strawberry banana smoothie :D I love my blender. So light and kept me full.. I don't know why that is important but it is. I would rather be full than hungry. Trying to change my mentality on that.



I had to work today and since it is grocery day I didn't bring anything for lunch. So after work I grabbed a ham flat bread from Subway. Packed full of veggies. And I had a water for the drink :D Such a change from my normal Subway order (A foot-long Chicken Bacon Ranch meal deal). Then I went to the local bulk food store and found some amazing stuff. These bars for example. :D I am excited to try them.

As well as this flaxseed oil. Supposed to be super good for high chlestorol. My good friend Jocelyn said that it is great in smoothies. Which I think is why it is on the grocery list. :D So something new to try.
Finally for Dinner I had the Chicken Greek Salad again. It was so good the first time around. Once again it didn't fail. I seriously love this salad :D
Well the first week is done. Nine more to go and I have lost a total of five lbs. I could not be happier. :D Hope you all have a fantastic finish to your weekend. Please continue to stay tuned for more delicious meals and even more weight loss.

Hey guys,

So day went pretty well. Woke up early for my midterm and then went to the center to get weighed and get the stuff for next week. I am excited to report that I went down FIVE pounds. :D it is working and I CAN do this. I worked tonight which helped with the step count but we will get to that in a bit. Here are the meals for today.

For Breakfast there was a delicious bowl of yogurt with strawberries and granola. :D I love easy breakfasts and it was good because of the midterm.



For lunch I had a yummy BLT wrap with dejon mustard and it was really good.. I am in love with this wrap now.. :D
And because I had to work tonight I brought another wrap with me for Dinner. It was just the left over stir fry but it was still good. :D
So that is it for today. One more day and then week one will be done. :D Nothing much else to report. Hope you are all doing well. <3 Remember to take each day one step at a time. Life is a marathon not a race.
